SMTL and UKAS/NAMAS accreditation.
SMTL have been accredited by UKAS for testing medical disposables and
dressings.
The initial accreditation was in 1995, since when SMTL have been
successfully inspected annually.
This site was originally set up with the aid of
sponsorship from
the Value for Money Unit,
Welsh Office
and an
educational grant
from Sophos Convatec.
