Also called "dry-film" leaching, this process is similar to the wet-film leaching above, except it is carried out on the dry/vulcanised latex film. The effectiveness of this process in reducing water extractives is a function of time and temperature. Some manufacturers leach the gloves at this stage for up to 24 hours.
