SMTL have recently published a paper in the Nursing Times on the evidence for the use of Aloe Vera in gloves:

A set of papers on the Fluid Handling Properties of Allevyn have recently been published on our sister site, www.dressings.org.
A paper on "Issues relating to disposable and reusable vaginal specula.". This piece of work was commissioned by Pelican Healthcare, although the report is an independent report by SMTL, and has not been censored/edited by the sponsoring company. Also available as a PDF file.
A paper on cytotoxic permeation rates through 4 brands of medical gloves.. This paper is based on laboratory testing by SMTL of Medisavers bodyguards nitrile and latex examination gloves, LIG Biogel latex surgeons gloves, and Semperit Sempermed latex sterile surgical gloves.
An outline latex allergy policy from Bro Morgannwg NHS Trust.. This policy may be useful as a starting point for for hospitals and trusts who need to write their own latex allergy policy.
A paper by Shimon Amdur on a method of removing proteins fron natural rubber latex through the use of fumed silica is now on the site.
